Job Description

We are looking for an experienced data analytics engineer to join our Reporting and Analytics team. We are looking for a software engineer who is interested in and passionate about data analytics, cum software engineering specifically focused on multiple BI platforms such as Alteryx Designer, Alteryx Server, Tableau and Cognos. He should be passionate about technology and be well versed with complex technology changes, implementations and innovations in a fast changing landscape.The primary skills we are looking for: As an experienced member of our Analytics and Reporting team, we look first and foremost for people who are passionate around solving business problems through innovation and engineering practices and automation. Youll be required to apply your depth of technical knowledge and functional expertise to all aspects of data analytics, and collaborate continuously with our tech and business partners to help solve problems, create solutions and enable the business user community within JPMC in multiple ways by improving the current offerings.   • Excellent Experience with multiple BI tools, like Alteryx, Tableau, Cognos etc.
  • Well versed with Windows Server management and administration, as well as Linux environment
  • Experience with data base driver installation and troubleshooting, environment rebuilds, tech refreshes etc
  • Excellent Experience with Python Programming Skills and automation
  • Experience with MongoDB and various other Relational and Cloud databases
  • Solid Experience of being part of an SRE team
  • Hands on Production Support and Business User support User experience in a real world
    • Monitoring application production jobs
    • Monitoring and resolving application and environment issues
    • Deploying jobs on to Autosys or Control-M for scheduling, creating, testing and deploying Control M jobs
  • Should be strategist who can deep dive into business problems and suggest efficient ways of solving user support/business issues through process improvements and identification and implementation of automation opportunities
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
  • 15+ years of overall expertise in application, data analytics, and engineering discipline
  • Advanced knowledge of architecture and design across all systems
  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages, Python desired with advanced knowledge
  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices, CI CD, DevOps, Cloud
  • Performance Testing knowledge using tools such as Blazemeter and Jmeter
  • 10+ years in software development, using modern engineering practices, with exposure to Cloud implementations on AWS/Azure platforms
  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
  • Passionate about building an innovative culture
  • Excellent communication and Presentation skills
  • Excellent people management experience and ability to handle a team in a goal based environment
