Job Description

    About the RoleYou will be joining the team working on Uber Direct, a rapidly growing product in the business-to-consumer (B2C) space. As a part of this team, you will be involved in developing features for the Uber Direct product, which is tailored for businesses. By leveraging our Dashboard product or integrating with our public API, merchants can easily set up delivery services on their websites or apps. Your role will focus on building scalable, high-quality features that enhance the delivery experience for our customers.What You Will DoYour responsibilities will include:- Developing highly scalable and quality product features that are integral to our customers daily usage- Writing well-documented, maintainable, and scalable code- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Data, Design, Product) to solve problems and drive product development- Designing data-driven architecture and systems- Establishing reliable alerting and monitoring mechanisms for the products you work onWhat You Will NeedTo excel in this role, you should have:- At least 3 years of experience in full-stack software engineering- Proficiency in Golang, Java, or similar programming languages- Demonstrated experience in collaborative work and leading cross-functional teams- Previous experience in delivering high-quality products at scale- Willingness to take ownership of products, considering aspects of operations, maintenance, and reliability- Ability to mentor and guide junior engineersPreferred QualificationsAdditionally, the following qualifications are preferred:- Experience in working on cross-team initiatives- Familiarity with micro-service architecture- Self-driven mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency,
