Job Description

    As a Software Engineer, Senior 2 at Progress (Nasdaq: PRGS), you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, deployment, and management of responsible, AI-powered applications and experiences. Passion for software development, debugging, and problem-solving is essential for this role. We are looking for engineers who are eager to work across various technologies and development environments, and who thrive in a dynamic agile setting.In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining complex systems, delivering key features with high quality in a timely manner, and collaborating with the UX team to implement modern UI for growth products. You will also be involved in creating automated unit tests, performing regression and performance testing, and implementing engineering excellence items such as CI/CD and new frameworks. Additionally, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint reviews.To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent, with 6 or more years of experience. Strong knowledge of C#, relational database coding, web technologies, client-side scripting, and .NET Framework is required. Experience in networking concepts, unit/integration testing in .NET, debugging, and analytical skills are also important. Knowledge of QA processes, CI/CD/CT, and the ability to work closely with other teams are essential.
