Job Description

    As a Software Test Engineer Level 2 at Ideagen, you will join a dynamic Agile development team and play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of SaaS products. Your passion for software testing and eagerness to learn and grow in your career will be key assets in contributing towards achieving the goals set by the Product team.**Responsibilities:**- Design & execute test cases and scripts to ensure software products meet quality standards and user requirements.- Identify, track, and report defects and issues from both a testing and customer perspective.- Provide feedback during technical/functional reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.- Participate in project planning and estimation activities to ensure proper scoping and resourcing of testing activities.- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.- Create scripts & datasets for automation and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes.- Comprehend requirements and contribute to test dataset preparation, test case writing, and execution.- Engage in team activities such as planning, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and development.**Essential Skills and Experience:**- 5 years of professional software testing experience.- Proven ability in delivering & maintaining web-based software in a team environment.- Experience in automation scripting with tools like Playwright, C#, Selenium, Appium, etc.- Knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.- Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.**Desirable:**- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- Azure or Cloud qualifications such as AZ-900 and beyond.- Cyber qualifications like CEH.- Testing qualifications such as ISTQB or similar.Ideagen is the invisible force behind critical aspects of daily life, ensuring safety and efficiency in various sectors.
