Job Description

    As a Test Engineer 2 at Hyland Software, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of software by developing and maintaining integration, functional, and non-functional tests. Your responsibilities will include:- Developing and maintaining moderately complex integration, functional, and non-functional tests- Contributing to automated test frameworks to ensure software quality- Leading the verification of system functionality through automated and manual tests- Analyzing test results, providing recommendations, and recording outcomes in the test repository- Reporting defects and results in the test repository- Contributing to the implementation of the delivery pipeline, including test automation and security- Creating test cases and test plans for manual testing- Participating in peer code reviews for test automation code- Verifying the performance and scalability of the system- Actively participating in planning, work estimation, solution demos, and reviews- Providing troubleshooting support for production or software issues- Participating in formal reviews of software products, databases, and environmentsBasic Qualifications:- Minimum 3 years of experience as a test engineer- Experience in writing automated tests in TypeScript/JavaScript- Familiarity with test automation tools, specifically Playwright- Knowledge of all phases of the test lifecycle- Experience with documenting standards, practice guidelines, and/or standards- Proficiency in test design and using source control systems- Experience in development on Windows/Linux platforms- Demonstrated experience with scripting tools, build environments, and delivery pipelines- Proficiency in programming or scripting- Knowledge of database technology- Strong oral and written communication skills with a professional demeanor and the ability to interact tactfully with othersJoin Hyland Software as a Test Engineer 2 and be part of a leading organization that enables digital transformation for over 20,000 organizations worldwide.,
