Growing together.As an Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), the candidate will be predominantly involved in developing and implementing test automation framework/solutions for modern applications (React/Angular/AEM) with Microservices architecture. The successful candidate will be a primary contributor in ensuring end-to-end quality of the application by developing automated frameworks; design, develop, and execute test cases/test scripts in CI/CD pipelines supporting all types of application testing.Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensure high software quality
• Work as part of the team to achieve key business objectives
• Work on large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
• Collaborate with the team on application architecture design, decision-making, and process automation
• Work on a time-sensitive and highly visible initiative to stabilize the existing regression suite and bring it up to date with the latest code base to test web and mobile OS/browsers combinations
• Assist with solutions to validate complex scenarios at a code or infrastructure level
• Review issues found via automation or manual testing to determine if there are environmental issues
• Determine root cause of issues (i.e. database, file systems, etc.) and work with the Development teams to resolve them
• They should have the relevant automation experience to understand the existing framework and scale up quickly to debug the scripts
• Provide feedback to the teams on improvements and assist in coming up with a sustainable maintenance process
• Experience in Agile testing methodologies will help
• Provide alternate design solutions in the automation phase
• Design and implement test enhancements in collaboration with the development team through automation
• Troubleshoot post-production issues and identify root cause
• Predict emerging customer needs and develop test plans to meet them
• Reviewing and updating the existing Automation framework for data-driven testing approach as well as enhancing it for supporting cross-browser (specifically mobile) testing

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree
• 5 years of experience as Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET)
• 3 years of experience developing test automation or a combination of development in Playwright tool and test automation experience
• 2 years of experience with agile methodologies
• Solid experience in Playwright tool and automation testing using Playwright
• Experience to write test code to test product/application code
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven methodologies using Playwright and JavaScript/Java coding
• Experience with test automation framework development and Implementation using prominent design patterns Robot /BDD/Hybrid or Data Driven Frameworks
• Experience with Acceptance Test Driven Development
• Test automation experience using JavaScript, Java, JUnit, Jenkins, Maven, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, and BDD frameworks like Cucumber
• Proven solid JavaScript coding skills (any other scripting skills Java and Python are good to have)
• Mobile and Web application experience in an SDET capacity
