Job Description

Job SummaryA Salesforce Industry Cloud Vlocity CPQ customization job description would typically involve configuring, customizing, and extending Vlocitys CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) functionality within the Salesforce Industry Cloud. This would include working with the Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), managing product versions, defining offer specifications, and implementing custom logic for pricing, discounts, and other sales-related processes.Key Responsibilities:Configuration and Customization:

  • Configure and customize Vlocity CPQ features within the Salesforce Industry Cloud, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
CPQ Development:
  • Develop custom solutions using Vlocity technologies like DataRaptor, OmniScript, and Integration Procedures to extend CPQ functionality.
Product Catalog Management:
  • Manage the Enterprise Product Catalog (EPC), including defining products, versions, and attributes, and ensuring data consistency.
Pricing and Quote Management:
  • Implement and maintain complex pricing models, discounts, and quote approval processes within Vlocity CPQ.
Order Management:
  • Work with Vlocity Order Management to ensure seamless integration between CPQ and order capture, facilitating efficient order processing.
Testing and Deployment:
  • Develop and execute testing plans, ensuring the stability and performance of CPQ customizations and deployments.
Documentation:
  • Maintain clear and concise documentation for CPQ configurations and custom solutions.
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other teams, including sales, product, and IT, to understand business needs and implement effective solutions.
Skills and Experience:
  • Salesforce CPQ: Extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ features and functionalities.
  • Vlocity: Proven experience with Vlocity technologies, including DataRaptor, OmniScript, and Integration Procedures.
  • Salesforce Development: Strong Salesforce development skills, including Apex, LWC, and Visualforce.
  • Configuration and Customization: Ability to configure and customize Salesforce and Vlocity CPQ.
  • Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues in CPQ configuration and customization.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
Optional Skills:
  • Vlocity Certification: Vlocity CPQ certifications (e.g., Salesforce CPQ Specialist).
  • Communications Cloud Knowledge: Experience with Salesforce Communications Cloud and its modules.
  • Industry-specific knowledge: Knowledge of specific industries served by Salesforce Communications Cloud (e.g., telecom, media, utilities).
