  • Bachelors degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience in Security Analysis.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management, with 2 years in a security-related role.
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Understanding of security concepts (e.g., risk assessments, threat modeling, security reviews).

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, youll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. Youll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Youre equally comfortable explaining your teams analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.The Enterprise Security Operations (ESO) team manages infrastructure security operations at scale globally across Google using process improvements and automation. ESOs work involves all aspects of information security and provides members with opportunities for growth and deeper investment in a variety of security domains.The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Googles flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Googles products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
  • Drive initiatives to scale security assessments and operations at enterprise level from intake and triage to execution and closure.
  • Create and implement roadmaps that align with both security objectives and business priorities.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and act as a trusted partner to security engineers and analysts to enhance security maturity.
