    • Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of firefighters during emergency response operations, providing guidance, instructions, and support
    • Incident Command: Assume a leadership role at incident scenes, making critical decisions, coordinating resources, and ensuring the safety of both firefighters and the public
    • Training and Development: Oversee the training and development of subordinate firefighters, ensuring they are well-prepared for emergency responses and ongoing professional development
    • Equipment and Apparatus: Ensure that firefighting equipment, vehicles, and apparatus are in good working condition, properly maintained, and ready for deployment
    • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency calls, including fires, accidents, hazardous material incidents, and other emergencies, and take charge of incident management
    • Safety Procedures: Enforce safety protocols and ensure that firefighters adhere to safety standards during operations
    • Fire Prevention: Assist in fire prevention efforts by participating in inspections, public education programs, and enforcing local fire safety regulations
    • Communication: Maintain effective communication with other first responders, government agencies, and the public during emergency situations
    • Documentation: Maintain records of incident reports, equipment maintenance, and other relevant data
