About the Role This is a unique opportunity to join ELIYA, a fast-growing marketing measurement agency based in Zurich, Switzerland, and collaborate with a talented team of multidisciplinary experts. We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in Marketing Measurement and Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM). Beyond strong technical capabilities, you bring a proactive, customer-centric approach, a collaborative spirit, and a growth mindset.Directly reporting to the CEO, you thrive in a fast-paced environment and naturally push boundaries to drive whats possible in marketing effectiveness.Key Responsibilities Model Development & Deployment: Design, build, and deploy robust Marketing Mix Models (MMM) to drive strategic budget optimization and planning for our clients across E-Commerce and Retail.Testing & Experimentation: Design and analyze geo-experiments and incrementality testing frameworks to measure true marketing impact.Client Advisory & Storytelling: Partner directly with clients to define data requirements, develop custom models, and deliver actionable budget recommendations. Present complex statistical insights in a clear, business-friendly manner.Product Innovation: Collaborate with the internal product team on building and scaling our proprietary AI analytics platform.Thought Leadership: Drive innovation by bringing forward next-generation ideas in MMM and marketing analytics.Community Engagement: Contribute to thought leadership content, sharing insights on the latest trends in technology, statistical modeling, and AI for marketing effectiveness.Mentorship & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, and foster the professional growth of data analysts and data scientists.Key Qualifications Experience & Education Education: Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.Domain Expertise: 3 years of experience in Marketing Analytics, with a proven track record of building and deploying MMM and media measurement frameworks.Channel Knowledge: Deep understanding of the marketing data ecosystem and digital ad platforms.Experience with both online and offline media channels is a strong plus.Technical Skills Programming & Engineering: Advanced proficiency in Python and R, along with solid software engineering fundamentals (e.g., building APIs with FastAPI).Statistical Modeling: Expertise in statistical and scientific modeling, Bayesian techniques, and frameworks like pymc-marketing.AI & Modern Tooling: Hands-on experience with developer tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor, as well as modern Agentic AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex).Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience with major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).Communication & Mindset Data Storytelling: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to translate technical statistical outputs into business-ready narratives.Client Focus & Mindset: Highly collaborative, curious, and motivated by continuous learning in a rapid-evolving space. .
