    Urgent Hiring || Head of Operations - Retail Furniture Mall || Location - Indore ||Location: IndorePosition: Head of Operations - Retail Furniture MallReports To: General Manager / DirectorsExperience- 8 yearsCtc- upto 12 Lpa (depends on interview )Working Days -6 days (10am-7 pm)/ (11am-8 pm )Position Summary:The Head of Operations will be a key leader, responsible for the overall strategic planning, execution, and management of all operational aspects of our retail furniture mall. This role requires a visionary leader who can optimize processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure a seamless, world-class experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail operations, a deep understanding of the furniture industry, and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.Key Responsibilities:1. Strategic Leadership and Management:Develop and implement strategic plans for retail operations to align with overall business objectives and drive sustainable growth.Lead and mentor a diverse team, including store managers, visual merchandisers, logistics and supply chain staff, and customer service teams.Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.2. Retail and Store Operations:Oversee all day-to-day retail operations, ensuring stores are running efficiently and profitably.Develop and enforce operational policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency across all departments.Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, foot traffic, customer satisfaction, and operational costs.Ensure all retail spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and visual merchandising.3. Supply Chain and Inventory Management:Manage the end-to-end supply chain, from vendor procurement to final delivery and installation for the customer.Implement robust inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels, minimize shrinkage, and optimize product availability.Collaborate with the buying and merchandising teams to forecast demand and manage product lifecycles.Oversee the logistics, warehousing, and delivery functions, ensuring timely and damage-free delivery to customers.4. Financial Management:Manage and control the operational budget, identifying opportunities to improve cost-efficiency and profitability.Analyze financial reports and sales data to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for improvement.Ensure all financial and accounting processes related to operations are compliant and accurate.5. Customer Experience and Service:Champion a customer-centric approach throughout the organization.Develop and implement strategies to enhance the overall customer journey, from showroom browsing to post-delivery service.Oversee the customer service department, ensuring timely and effective resolution of all customer inquiries and complaints.Gather and analyze customer feedback to drive improvements in products and services.6. Team Development and Training:Lead the recruitment, training, and development of a high-performing operations team.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members.Ensure all staff are well-trained on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Retail Management, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
    • Minimum of 9-10 years of experience in a senior retail operations role, preferably in the furniture or home goods sector.
    • Proven experience in a leadership position with responsibility for a large team and multi-site operations.
    • Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and P&L analysis.
    • Expertise in supply chain management, inventory control, and logistics.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable plans.
    • Proficiency in retail management software and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
