As a Logistics Operations Manager for our client, a prominent player in the logistics and supply chain sector, you will be based at the key hub in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, IN. Your role is pivotal in overseeing the daily warehouse and transportation operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely movement of goods. Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential in this dynamic environment.**Key Responsibilities:**- Overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.- Managing transportation logistics, including fleet scheduling, route optimization, and carrier management.- Ensuring efficient inventory management, accuracy, and cycle counting processes.- Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and improve efficiency.- Leading, training, and motivating a team of warehouse and logistics staff.- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing corrective actions to achieve operational targets.- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, security protocols, and environmental standards within the facility.- Managing relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.- Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and operational improvements within the supply chain.- Implementing and managing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant logistics software.- Handling customer inquiries and resolving operational issues promptly and effectively.**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.- Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics and warehouse operations management.- Proven experience in managing complex supply chains and large operational teams.- Strong understanding of inventory control principles, transportation management, and warehouse automation technologies.- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Experience with WMS and TMS software is highly desirable.- Ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions, and drive operational excellence.This role offers you an excellent opportunity to lead in optimizing supply chain performance for a growing organization.
