Job Description

OUR IMPACTThe Italy Institutional Sales Team is responsible for new business development and managing existing institutional client relationships with, for example, pension funds, financial institutions, and foundations. We are seeking to hire a Sales Support Analyst to join our team with specific regional coverage for Italy.YOUR IMPACTA successful candidate should effectively collaborate primarily with the Country Head and with senior sales professionals of the team, supporting client activities and interactions with internal senior stakeholders. This role is best suited for a junior professional looking to gain exposure to:

Commercial activities with a regional focus on Italy, targeting key institutional clients
A wide range of Goldman Sachs Asset Management products, spanning from traditional public markets to private assets
Senior management interactions including presentations and analysis of the Italian business for key internal decision makers

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Assist senior sales professionals with preparation and follow-up on client meetings and responding to client queries on products and services
Partner with product specialists and support functions (Marketing, Compliance, Legal, etc.) to execute the business strategy
Support senior sales colleagues with presentations focusing on market intelligence, business development, financial analysis, and planning
Demonstrate a strong team working attitude and be proactive in learning and promoting new ideas within the team

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WERE LOOKING FOR

Native in Italian & fluent in English
University degree with outstanding results
Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong time management, communication skills & attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, team player
Excellent communication, presentation & analytical skills
Good understanding of investment funds and financial markets
Some work experience within the asset management industry ideal but not essential
Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic
