Job Description

    As a Corporate Lawyer, your role involves utilizing your expertise in commercial law, corporate law, and business law to provide legal advice that aligns with regulatory laws while reflecting the companys values. Your primary objective is to safeguard the company from legal risks and violations by offering the right corporate law services. It is crucial to evaluate existing and potential projects to ensure compliance with corporate law regulations at both national and international levels. As the legal landscape evolves, you are expected to stay updated with dynamic changes in laws and regulations related to corporate law.Your responsibilities include offering sound legal counsel whenever necessary and reviewing legal documentation to safeguard the companys interests while adhering to corporate compliance laws. Additionally, you will supervise junior corporate lawyers, paralegals, and support staff in legal matters and periodically refine company policies related to legal affairs. Guiding the management team and stakeholders on legal matters and conducting thorough legal research for partnerships, mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions are also part of your duties.To excel in this role, you are required to possess a Bachelors degree in Law, such as LLB or BA.LLB, from a recognized university and be registered with the Bar Council of India. Proficiency in English, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of corporate law are essential. Collaborative teamwork is key to success in this position.Preferred qualifications include an LLM or specialization in company law or corporate law, prior experience as a corporate lawyer, and a degree from a national law school.This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a total of 7 years of work experience, though this is preferred rather than mandatory. The work location is in person, and the application deadline and expected start date are both on 01/04/2025.,
