Job Description

    Role Overview:You are sought after to join the fashion team as a Merchandiser with a strong understanding of fashion trends, fabric sourcing, vendor management, and sales strategies. Your role will involve playing a key part in product planning, inventory management, and ensuring alignment with consumer preferences and market demand.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to enhance brand positioning and drive sales.- Conduct market research to identify upcoming fashion trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.- Source fabrics, trims, and raw materials, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.- Plan and manage the product assortment, pricing, and inventory levels to optimize sales and minimize stockouts.- Work closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure timely product development and launch.- Monitor sales performance and analyze data to make informed decisions on product selection and stock movement.- Oversee visual merchandising and ensure products are displayed in an appealing manner across retail and e-commerce platforms.- Negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.- Ensure products meet quality standards and align with brand aesthetics.- Manage seasonal collections, promotions, and markdown strategies.Qualifications Required:- Education: Bachelors degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Design, Business, or a related field.- Experience: Minimum 5 years in fashion merchandising, buying, or retail planning.- Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and fashion supply chains.- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.- Proficiency in Excel, ERP, and merchandising software.- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Passion for fashion and a keen eye for detail.If you have a passion for fashion merchandising and the expertise to drive product success, this opportunity is for you!,
