Job Description

    The Mining Engineer for the Mineral & Clay (Kaolin Mine) will be responsible for managing the planning, design, and optimization of kaolin extraction operations. You will collaborate with geological and engineering teams to evaluate deposits, develop mining plans, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.Your primary responsibilities will include designing mining plans to enhance kaolin extraction efficiency while minimizing waste generation. You will conduct feasibility studies and prepare technical reports on kaolin reserves. Additionally, you will oversee production activities to maintain a consistent, high-quality output of kaolin and coordinate with quality control teams to meet client specifications.Ensuring safety and environmental compliance in kaolin mining operations will be a crucial aspect of your role. You will be responsible for conducting site inspections, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations. Collaborating with geologists to evaluate kaolin deposits and plan resource extraction will also be part of your duties.Utilizing mining and simulation software to enhance mining efficiency will be essential. You will also be tasked with supervising and providing safety training to mining staff to promote adherence to safety protocols and proper equipment usage.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Mining Engineering or a related field. Relevant certifications, particularly Class 1 or Class 2 certification, are highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations, preferably in kaolin or industrial mineral mining, is required. Proficiency in mining software and strong analytical skills are essential for success in this role.This is a full-time, permanent position located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The benefits include health insurance, leave encashment, paid sick time, and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, with a morning shift option available. Performance bonuses and yearly bonuses are provided.Applicants must be able to reliably commute to Jaipur, Rajasthan, or be willing to relocate before starting work.
