This role will play a critical part in ensuring QCT in our products, standardization of test plans by designing and managing comprehensive system-level and component level validation plans. Ensuring compliance with performance, safety and regulatory standards.A Day in the life1) Test plan creation and coordination2) Powertrain requirements3) Troubleshooting, RCA and DFMEA4) Standards and guidelinesAcademic Qualification & ExperienceB.E/ B.tech in Electrical or electronics Eng.Technical Skills/Knowledge1) The ideal candidate should have good experience in:a) Powertrain validation in relevant EV/HEV projectsb) Automotive EV developmentc) Development of powertrain componentsd) Embedded system design2) Wide experience and knowledge in powertrain architecture, power and energy flow and safety mechanisms.3) Wide experience in EV powertrain components validation and their integration: batteries, BMS, motor, motor controllers, VCU, etc.4) Experience in testing automation and test reporting.5) Experience in HW and SW architecture understanding.6) Experience in requirements management tools (DOORS, Jama, Codebemeamer, ALM, Jira).7) Troubleshooting and RCA skills.8) DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA analysis.9) Sound knowledge on the usage of DSO, power supplies andelectronics measurement tools.10) Hands on experience in Vector tools (CANoe, CAPL,CANalyzer) is added advantage11) Knowledge of PLM will be an added advantage.12) Understanding of HIL testing and capabilities.Behavioural Skills1) Adaptability, self-motivation.2) Innovative thinking and capability to leverage technologies.3) Strong sense of achievement and ownership.4) Openness to new approaches, high flexibility.What will it be like to work for HeroAs the worlds largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters for the last 22 years, Hero is where you will get to work with the brightest innovators, passionate about being the best in what they do.
