Your responsibilities will include managing credit risk effectively, optimizing the lending portfolio, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will lead a team in assessing, underwriting, and managing microloans, with a focus on low-income segments, underserved markets, and small businesses.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement credit strategies aligned with business objectives.- Establish and enforce credit policies and guidelines for effective risk mitigation.- Design credit risk frameworks tailored to microfinance products.- Monitor portfolio performance and implement corrective actions.- Lead the credit underwriting process and approve high-value loans.- Manage and mentor the credit team, setting performance targets.- Collaborate with internal teams to align credit products with market needs.- Engage with external stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry standards.- Regularly report on credit portfolio performance and risk indicators.Key Skills & Competencies:- Credit Risk Management- Analytical Skills- Leadership- Product Knowledge- Regulatory Knowledge- Communication- Technology SavvyQualifications & Experience:- Education: MBA (Finance) or equivalent, CA qualification preferred. Certification in credit risk management is advantageous.- Experience: Minimum 10-12 years in credit risk management, with 5 years in a leadership role.- Industry Knowledge: Experience in microfinance, retail banking, or financial inclusion products.Salary: Best in the IndustryNote: Candidates may be considered for Assistant Manager/Manager/Senior Manager roles in the Credit Department based on their experience, expertise, and interview results.,
