Job Description

    As a Senior PHP Developer at Xieno, you will play a crucial role in developing modern web applications using the latest technologies. Your responsibilities will include:- Developing high-quality responsive websites.- Integrating user-facing elements created by front-end developers.- Building efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.- Solving complex performance problems and architectural challenges.- Integrating data storage solutions.- Writing server-side web application logic.- Developing back-end components and connecting the application with other web services.- Enhancing and fixing bugs in existing sites and modules.- Evaluating security and optimizing code for improved website load time.Qualifications required for this role include:- Excellent knowledge of PHP, RestApi, MySQL, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and JQuery.- Strong understanding of MVC frameworks such as Laravel.- Experience with eCommerce CMS like Adobe Commerce, Craft Commerce, Shopify, Bigcommerce, Opencart, etc.- Familiarity with headless CMS like Contentful, Sanity, Strapi, etc.- Proficiency in JavaScript and at least one frontend technology like Nodejs, Reactjs, Vuejs, or Angular.- Deep knowledge of WordPress CMS, its popular plugins, and themes.- Ability to develop high-quality responsive WordPress websites.- Proficiency in coding WordPress plugins from scratch and modifying themes and plugins as needed.- Experience in developing and using APIs for web and mobile applications.- Strong understanding of OOPs, data structures, SDLC, HTTP, RDBMS, and PHP/MySQL concepts.- Knowledge of web development processes, XML Structures, Session & Cookies Handling, and Version Control.- Understanding of server commands, web servers, migration of servers, etc., with knowledge of AWS being an advantage.- Capability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and complete tasks promptly.- Good grasp of accessibility considerations and web standards.In addition to technical skills, you should also possess the following qualifications:- B.Tech/BE/MCA/Graduate or equivalent qualifications in Computer Science.- Ability to write technical documentation.- Understanding of clients requirements and functional specifications to propose solutions.- Strong emphasis on writing clean, reusable code with stability, security, and performance in mind.- Proactive attitude towards taking ownership and meeting deadlines.- Excellent problem-solving and testing skills.- Curiosity about new technologies and readiness to implement them in your work.- Experience in coaching and mentoring other developers.- Capability to oversee and drive projects forward effectively.With over 5 years of experience, you are well-equipped to excel in this role as a key member of the development team at Xieno.,
