*AI/NLP/Virtual Assistant Technology AI/NLP/Assistant Technology team is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating Client facing and field facing Chatbots using in house as well as vendor products. Team uses cutting edge innovative AI/NLP technology in building Virtual Assistants to support multiple business units like Wealth Management Operations and Wealth Management Research. Role & Responsibilities Candidate will work with the Machine Learning & Advanced Analytics team, based out of Bangalore, working on various deliveries. This candidate will be reporting to the Local Analytics lead in Bangalore and work in collaboration with rest of the team in India & NY. Candidate will be working hands-on on analytical projects with or without big data development and be responsible for project delivery, execution and support. Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic environment with limited or no supervision and should be able to motivate junior team members. Should be comfortable and manage time working with global team on multiple initiatives. Candidate will be able to build batch as well as real time solutions on Hadoop and Spark. Main role and responsibilities include: Job Responsibilities: Proven experience in working with NLP, AI systems. Expert in Python, SQL, Java script, knowledge of SQL is plus Design and Build distributed, scalable, and reliable data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time using big data technologies. Explore new data sources and data from new domains Build feature computation pipelines for various ML & rule based models. Evaluate big data technologies and prototype solutions to improve our data processing architecture., *Primary Skills / Must have Experienced professional with at least 5 years of experience working in Hadoop/python/ PySpark. Proven python coding skills to move and transform data from multiple sources to a data store/warehouse Knowledge of various components of Hadoop ecosystem and experience in applying them to practical problems - Hive/Impala/Spark/MR. Experience in Real time/ Batch and near real time architectures in Spark and other Hadoop ecosystem components Strong Software abilities in Python Strong and proven experience in writing complex and optimized SQL Flair for data, schema, data model, how to bring efficiency in big data related life cycle Ability to acquire, compute, store and process various types of datasets in Hadoop platform Ability to work in fast paced and dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Secondary Skills / Desired skills Experience on NOSQL database like HBase, Mongo DB etc Experience on distributed messaging queue system like Kafka Good Understanding of Machine Learning Algorithms and Statistics Experience in building data pipelines that ingest and process data at scale and in real-time. Expertise in handling large data volumes MPP databases like Teradata/Greenplum Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, BOXi exposure will be helpful. Experience in Finance Industry
