Job Description

As a Supervisor/ Assistant Manager Engineering at Svenska Design Hotels in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh, your role will involve overseeing the engineering department and ensuring the smooth operation of the hotels mechanical and technical systems. Your qualifications should include an Engineering Degree or Diploma, along with at least 7 years of experience in the engineering department of hotels, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role. It is mandatory to have experience in property management and maintenance within the hospitality industry.**Key Responsibilities:**- Property Maintenance: Conduct preventive maintenance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems in the hotel.- Team Management: Lead and train the engineering team to promptly rectify any technical issues.- Guest Service Support: Ensure quick resolution of guest-related maintenance problems with minimal disruption.- Compliance & Safety: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to local regulations and brand standards.- Asset Management: Monitor and upkeep all technical equipment and hotel infrastructure to extend their lifespan.- Energy Efficiency: Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility usage to minimize costs.- Inventory & Budgeting: Assist in managing department budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor coordination.- Reporting: Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and reports on maintenance activities and incidents.- Emergency Response: Act as a key support during emergencies such as fire or power failure and coordinate necessary actions.If you have a specialization in HVAC chill water systems, Electricals, or Electronics, it would be a preference.
