Operations Executive

Job Description

As an Operations Executive at PSL Arabia, a leading freight forwarding and management company, your role will involve assisting in the day-to-day operations for import and export shipments via air and sea. Your responsibilities will include:- Assisting in day-to-day freight forwarding operations for both import and export shipments (Air & Sea).- Supporting the preparation and processing of shipping documentation such as Bill of Lading, Airway Bill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Shipping Instructions.- Coordinating with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and customs brokers.- Tracking shipments and updating customers and internal systems on status and delivery schedules.- Liaising with clients and overseas agents for smooth execution of shipments.- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company SOPs.- Helping maintain accurate records of all shipments and operational activities.- Supporting the operations team with data entry, document filing, and report generation.- Participating in continuous learning and contributing to process improvement initiatives.Qualifications required for this role include:- Graduate study of any discipline from any recognized university, preferably from business/marketing.- Good English communication skills; knowledge of other languages will be a plus.- Intensive IT skills and ability to manage and organize complex data.- Full knowledge of supply chain processes and operations.- Full knowledge of Port and Customs Regulations.- Good knowledge of shipping services/products, terms, and practices.- Ability to work under pressure.- Highly motivated and target-driven.- Strong knowledge of Container/Shipping Line (products and services).- Excellent organization, planning, and communication skills.- 1 years of experience preferred, with senior ladies encouraged to apply.- Experience in customer service and pricing.PSL Arabia is dedicated to simplifying supply chain solutions and optimizing the movement of goods worldwide.
