Job Description

As a Chief Accountant at our organization, you will be responsible for leading our finance and accounting function with a focus on complete ownership of accounts, statutory compliance, reporting, and financial discipline.Key Responsibilities:- Head and manage complete company accounts independently- Ensure accurate maintenance of books, ledgers, and financial records- Handle GST, Income Tax, TDS, and all statutory filings with zero delays- Prepare monthly MIS, P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements- Manage audits, tax assessments, and liaison with auditors & consultants- Implement financial controls, cost monitoring, and process improvements- Guide and supervise the accounting team for accuracy and compliance- Support management in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decisionsQualifications & Skills:- Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience at a senior level- Strong hands-on expertise in GST, taxation, and compliance- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel- Experience in retail/wholesale/manufacturing accounting preferred- High level of integrity, ownership, and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and handle pressure during closuresIn addition to the challenging and rewarding responsibilities, we offer a leadership role with direct management interaction in a stable and growth-oriented organization.
