Job Description

  • To see all patients and check the vitals.
  • To detail the registrar and consultant about the patients.
  • To explain the procedures to the patients and to take consent.
  • To do all minor procedures like urinary catherdsation, bladder wash, IV access and dressings.
  • To prepare the discharge summary.
  • To explain medication to the patient pre-discharge.
  • To see all new admission and order investigation and follow up.
  • To attend all new emergencies first and inform the registrar.
  • To do night duty as per duty roster
  • To participate and contribute to departmental quality initiatives.
  • To be aware of departments performance and objective.
  • To carryout data collection/support in data collection.
  • To adhere the safety norms of hospital and follow both patient and staff safety rules.
  • To perform any job / task as and when assigned by the superior.
