Job Description

    Job Overview: The Operations Head will oversee and manage the entire plant operations for a spice processing facility. This role requires an individual with expertise in the spice processing industry and the ability to effectively lead and manage teams responsible for the production, quality control, and maintenance of the plant.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations while maintaining high-quality standards, productivity, and compliance with industry regulations specifically processing of Turmeric and ginger with its extraction methods.CTC: 5.0 LPA to 12.0 LPAKey Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and guide the operations team, including production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure smooth daily operations. Plant Production Oversight: Monitor and optimize production processes, ensuring consistent spice quality and timely delivery. Focus on efficiency, reducing waste, and improving throughput. Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards, food safety regulations, and industry certifications. Conduct regular audits and assessments to uphold quality. Maintenance & Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance of equipment, machinery, and systems, ensuring they are operating at peak performance to avoid downtime. Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage the budget for the plant, control costs, and implement strategies for cost reduction without compromising quality. Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety within the plant, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and practices. Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and implement process improvements, driving innovation and enhancing operational efficiency. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare regular reports on production metrics, operational issues, and financial performance for senior management.Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in plant management or operations within the spice processing industry or related sectors. Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality assurance, and food safety standards in the spice industry. Experience with maintenance management, machinery, and troubleshooting. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments. Solid understanding of budget management and cost control techniques. Ability to develop and implement operational strategies for continuous improvement.Preferred Qualifications: A degree in Engineering, Food Science, or a related field. Minimum 4 Years of Experience in Plant operations of Spice Processing Factory. Advanced certifications in plant management, food safety, or quality control.Additional Details: The position will be based at the spice processing facility, requiring on-site presence.
