Job Description

    Functional Responsibilities
    • Responsible for responding to and resolving the IT issues raised from business units on both applications and systems.
    • Provide accurate and effective 2nd level of IT support to end users regarding issues raised from businesses applications and systems.
    • Manage hardware and software assets of Malabar Group.
    • Responsible for AV/Patch Update.
    • Deploy monthly MIS Fixes / Patches.
    • Troubleshoot Antivirus definitions and diagnose the applications for bug fixing to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
    • Responsible for the resolution of out-of-date pattern files.
    • Resolve issues reported from end users and also analyze the same to identify trends and reveal areas for improvement.
    • Ensure that all end users have access to the required systems, data base and applications according to their level of authority, to protect the organization from potential non-authorized access.
    • Administer database on a frequent basis to ensure that business interests remain confidential.
    • Respond timely to end user requests for assistance and ensure response to these needs, in order to facilitate high level of customer service to end users.
    • Document the issues raised through ticketing system for end user support and focus on continuous improvement.
