Job Description

Job Title: Senior AccountantJob Purpose:We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee our financial practices while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. This role involves preparing financial statements, managing account reconciliations, and contributing to our financial strategy and planning.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with GST and SEZ regulations in financial reporting and tax filings. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff to enhance their professional development and efficiency. Manage financial audits by liaising with external auditors and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Implement and maintain robust financial controls and reporting systems. Utilize SAP for effective financial data management and reporting. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance; an MBA in Finance is preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with proven experience in a managerial role preferred. Strong knowledge of GST and SEZ compliance is essential. Proficiency in SAP is required. Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Strong verbal and written communication skills.Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
