Job Description

    As an Assistant Manager - Die Design (Casting) at our company located in Focal Point, Ludhiana, you will play a crucial role in the design of dies, tools, and fixtures using both 2D and 3D software. Your responsibilities will include conducting simulations, machining trials, and implementing improvements to enhance the overall design process. Collaborating with the Engineering Team and vendors for outsourced design work will be an essential part of your role.We are looking for an individual with a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering and 2 to 5 years of experience in die and fixture design, preferably. Your contribution to new product development designs and providing design inputs to Die Maintenance and Tool Manufacturing teams will be highly valued. Moreover, maintaining documentation, uploading designs to PLM, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and documentation standards are key aspects of this position.Your participation in improvement initiatives such as Kaizen, TPM, etc., will be encouraged as we strive for continuous enhancement in our processes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Die/Fixture Design, Toolroom Operations, PLM Systems, and Documentation Handling is essential for success in this role.This is a full-time position that requires your presence in person at the work location.
