Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be an experienced Dispatcher joining the trucking operations team in Patiala. Your main responsibility will be to coordinate daily freight movements, schedule drivers, and ensure timely and efficient delivery of loads. Your role is crucial in maintaining the smooth operation of the transportation network and providing top-notch service to customers.Key Responsibilities:- Assign and schedule loads to company drivers and owner-operators- Plan routes to optimize efficiency for on-time deliveries- Communicate load details, pickup, and delivery instructions clearly to drivers- Monitor truck locations and proactively resolve any delivery issues- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activity, driver hours, and delivery status- Coordinate with customers and warehouse teams for smooth loading/unloading processes- Handle driver inquiries and provide support throughout the day- Ensure compliance with safety and company policiesQualifications Required:- Minimum 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in a trucking or logistics environment- Strong understanding of trucking routes, geography, and load planning- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting- Proficiency with dispatch or TMS software is preferred- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail- Flexibility to work shifts if requiredAdditional Company Details:This is a full-time job opportunity with health insurance benefits provided.
