Co for---- Modipuram,Meerut ------Location.Designation Area ManagerProfile - Mechanical TechnicianExp 10-15 yrs.Qualification : B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Enginnering From reputed college of engineeringLocation: Modipuram,MeerutJob DescriptionOperationv 5S: Conduting 5s in the department for maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe working environment.v Machine Setup: Assist in the setup and adjustment of machines for different tire production processes, ensuring that they are configured correctly for the specific product being manufactured.Maintenancev Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance on mechanical systems, including mixers, extruders, calenders, related equipment, to prevent unexpected breakdowns.v Routine checks: Conducting routine checks on critical mechanical systems during operations to ensure they are functioning properly and taking corrective actions when necessary.v Lubrication: Regularly lubricate moving parts to reduce wear and tear, improve efficiency, and extend the lifespan of equipment.ESH (Environrment)v Energy Efficiency: Work to improve the energy efficiency of mechanical systems by ensuring that equipment is properly maintained, running efficiently, and only used when necessary.v Waste Management: Properly handle and dispose of mechanical waste, such as used oil, lubricants, and worn-out parts, following environmental regulations and company policies.v Spill Prevention and Response: Implement and follow procedures to prevent spills of hazardous materials, such as oil or chemicals, and know how to respond effectively if a spill occurs.Safetyv Adherence to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures when working on mechanical systems.v Hazard Identification: Regularly inspect the work area and equipment to identify potential mechanical hazards, such as exposed moving parts, leaks, or malfunctioning machinery, and take corrective action to mitigate these risks.Healthv Ergonomics: Apply ergonomic principles when performing maintenance tasks, such as using proper lifting techniques and positioning tools to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.v Exposure Prevention: Ensure that equipment is properly maintained to prevent leaks or emissions of harmful substances, such as hydraulic fluids or fumes, that could impact health.v Noise Control: Monitor and control noise levels from machinery to prevent hearing damage, using noise-reducing techniques or PPE as needed.Troubleshooting and Repairv Problem Diagnosis: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify the root cause of mechanical failures or performance issues, such as unusual noises, vibrations, or overheating.v Systematic Approach: Follow a systematic approach to troubleshooting, ensuring that all potential causes are investigated and the correct repair is made.v Work Orders: Complete work orders accurately, documenting any additional issues identified during maintenance or repairs, and provide feedback to supervisors.Documentation and Reportsv Maintenance Records: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities, including the parts used, repairs made, and time taken, to provide transparency and facilitate future maintenance planning.v Update Manuals: Update machine manuals and maintenance documentation as needed to reflect any modifications or changes to equipment.Continuous Improvementv Identify Improvement Opportunities: Identify and recommend improvements to mechanical systems or maintenance practices that could enhance efficiency, reduce costs, or improve safety.v Implement Best Practices: Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies, applying them to improve the reliability and performance of mechanical systems.COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Experience, BIG SIX Capabilities)v Ability to think critically and solve complex mechanical problems, often under time pressure, to minimize downtime.v Efficient in managing time to complete maintenance tasks and repairs promptly, minimizing disruption to production.v A deep understanding of mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and machinery components like bearings, gears, conveyors and motors.v IT Skills (e.g. SAP-PM, SFI, WMS, Microsoft Office-Package),
