Job Description

    As a Security Operations Center Analyst, your role involves having process knowledge and technical expertise in SIEM tools such as Qradar, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Splunk, etc. Being at L2/L3 level would be an added advantage. You are also expected to have similar knowledge in AV tools like Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc. Managing Vulnerability tools and overseeing remediation efforts are key responsibilities within your purview.Key Responsibilities:- Review security logs generated by applications, devices, and systems, taking necessary actions or escalating to the relevant teams.- Enforce incident response service level agreements.- Collaborate with the global IT Security team to analyze, test, and suggest tools to enhance the companys security posture.- Generate and maintain operational reports for the IT management team to comprehend the current and historical IT security risks landscape.- Conduct Vulnerability management assessment and remediation.- Participate in daily and ad-hoc meetings on cyber security, controls, compliance, processes, and documentation.- Stay updated on the latest IT security trends and contribute to planning and implementing security protocols within the organization.- Develop security standards, best practices, and recommend enhancements to the management or senior IT staff.- Document security breaches, assess their impact, and perform any other duties as assigned.Qualifications:- B. Tech, B.E., or M.C.A degree.- 2-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center.- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the computer industry.- Proficiency in working with complex Windows environments.- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO27001.- Experience in designing and administering security tools.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.You are expected to uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. Ensuring compliance with the companys Code of Ethics and Conduct is crucial. Additionally, it is your responsibility to report any quality problems or defects to your manager or senior management promptly to implement corrective actions and prevent future occurrences. Duties may be subject to modifications to align with the evolving needs of the business.
