Job Description

    As a Security Operations Center Analyst, your role involves utilizing your process knowledge and technical expertise in SIEM tools like Qradar, LogRhythm, AlienVault, Splunk, etc. Having experience at L2/L3 level will be an added advantage. Additionally, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in AV tools such as Symantec, McAfee, Trend Micro, etc. Key Responsibilities:- Manage Vulnerability tools and implement various remediation efforts- Review security logs from applications, devices, and systems, taking necessary actions or escalating to relevant teams- Enforce incident response service level agreements- Collaborate with the global IT Security team to evaluate, test, and suggest tools to enhance the companys security posture- Generate and update operational reports for IT management to comprehend current and historical IT security risks- Conduct vulnerability management assessments and remediation- Participate in regular and ad-hoc cyber security, controls, compliance, and documentation-related meetings- Stay informed about the latest IT security trends- Assist in developing security standards and best practices- Provide recommendations on security enhancements to management or senior IT staff- Document security breaches and evaluate their impact- Perform any other assigned dutiesQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in B. Tech, B.E, or M.C.A- 2-5 years of experience in a Security Operations Center- Minimum of 2 years in the computer industry- Proficiency in working with complex Windows environments- Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, ISO27001- Experience in designing and administering security tools- Strong written and verbal communication skillsYou are expected to uphold the companys core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork. It is essential for every employee to report any quality problems or defects to their manager or senior management to ensure corrective actions are taken. Duties may be subject to modification or reassignment as per the business needs.
