Job Description

    Job Title: Admin ExecutiveCampany: Seamec LimitedLocation: [Mumbai, Andheri]Fresher/experiancedJob Overview:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Admin Executive to join our team in theshipping industry. The Admin Executive will support daily administrative functions, ensuringsmooth operations and effective coordination of shipping and logistics activities. The idealcandidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an ability to workunder pressure in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:1. Documentation Management:o Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, invoices, packinglists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.o Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, including import/exportdocumentation and customs procedures.o Maintain and organize electronic and hard copy files for shipping and logisticsrecords.2. Coordination with Shipping Partners:o Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and otherstakeholders to ensure timely shipment of goods.o Track and update shipment status, resolving any issues or delays with vendors,carriers, or customers.3. Scheduling and Monitoring:o Coordinate the scheduling of shipments and deliveries, ensuring efficient use ofresources and compliance with deadlines.o Monitor the progress of shipments, providing regular updates to internal teamsand customers.4. Customer Service Support:o Handle customer inquiries related to shipment status, documentation, and logisticsservices.o Provide support to the sales and operations teams to resolve customer concernsrelated to shipping.5. Inventory and Supply Chain Support:o Maintain accurate records of inventory, goods in transit, and shipments arriving ordeparting from the warehouse.o Assist in coordinating inventory levels and logistics for efficient shipping.6. Data Entry & Reporting:o Enter shipment and tracking data into the companys system.o Prepare reports related to shipment performance, delays, and costs formanagement review.7. General Office Administration:o Handle general office tasks, including filing, photocopying, and handling phonecalls and emails.o Maintain office supplies and ensure the smooth functioning of office equipment.o Support other administrative functions as required. Skills:o Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and logisticsoperations.o Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).o Experience with shipping management software or ERP systems is a plus.o Strong communication skills (verbal and written) to interact with internal teamsand external partners.o Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.o Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.o Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
