Job Description

    Job Overview:We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our kitchen team. As a Commis, you will work under the guidance of the Sous Chef and Head Chef, assisting with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining kitchen standards. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are looking to develop their culinary skills and advance their careers in the hospitality industry.Job Location :- BandraIts a pre opening restaurantCuisine :- Oriental and ThatKey Responsibilities:
    • Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the supervision of senior chefs, ensuring that the quality and presentation meet the hotels standards.
    • Inventory Management: Help in receiving and storing ingredients and kitchen supplies, ensuring proper stock rotation and cleanliness of storage areas.
    • Cooking Stations: Work across different sections of the kitchen, including prep, hot line, cold line, and pastry, to gain exposure to all areas of food production.
    • Quality Control: Assist in monitoring food quality and presentation to maintain the high standards set by the hotel. Ensure consistency in food preparation and presentation.
    • Cleaning and Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and work areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hotel policies.
    • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other members of the kitchen brigade to ensure smooth service and timely food delivery.
    • Training and Development: Participate in on-the-job training and development opportunities to improve culinary skills and knowledge.
    • Adherence to Health & Safety: Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed within the kitchen, including proper handling of kitchen tools and equipment.
