Job Description

    Senior Specialist - Software Engineering (AS400)Experience: 8-12 YearsLocation: ChennaiIndustry: BFSI / Banking / Financial Services MandatoryWe are looking for an experienced AS400 Developer with 8 years of experience in AS400 development and enhancement projects. Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in AS400, ILE COBOL, RPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL/CLLE and SQL on DB2.Required Skills:
    • AS400 / IBM i
    • ILE COBOL / COBOL
    • RPGLE / RPG IV / Free Format RPG
    • CL / CLLE / CL/400
    • SQL on DB2 / DB2/400
    • AS400 Development & Enhancement
    • SFTP File Transfers
    • Web Services / APIs
    • XML / JSON
    • Message-Based Integration
    • AS400 Interface Applications
    • Unit Testing and Production Releases
    Domain Experience:BFSI experience is mandatory. Candidates with experience in Investment Instruments such as Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, ETFs and Corporate Actions will be preferred.Additional Requirements:
    • Strong knowledge of AS400 concepts including DBU, WRKQRY, Subfiles, Jobs and Job Descriptions.
    • Experience in AS400 interface applications and integration projects.
    • Exposure to Web Services, APIs, XML and JSON.
    • Strong understanding of unit testing and defect-free releases.
    • Knowledge of Change Management tools and Turnover is an added advantage.
