Job Description

    About Us:Wellbi is a fast-growing sustainable fashion brand committed to redefining fashion with a focus on eco-friendly materials and ethical production practices. We aim to provide a premium, personalized shopping experience for our customers while adhering to the highest standards of quality and sustainability.We are looking for an experienced Production and Operations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of production experience and a strong background in material sourcing, vendor management, and quality control. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes, from sourcing and product development to logistics and delivery execution.Key Responsibilities: Material Sourcing & Vendor Management: Source factories that meet both product and compliance requirements. Manage relationships with vendors to ensure alignment with our brands standards. Supply Matching: Collaborate with the merchandising team to identify the right suppliers based on capability and capacity, ensuring product requirements are met. Cost Negotiation: Work closely with the Merchandising and CAD teams to negotiate realistic costing with vendors and optimize the supply chain. Product Development: Conduct trend analysis and work with buyers and vendors on new product developments and executions. Strategic Merchandising: Oversee the end-to-end merchandising process, from lab dips to production samples, and ensure close monitoring. Production Planning: Lead pre-production meetings (PPM) and daily standup meetings with relevant stakeholders to streamline the production process. Quality Control & Analysis: Supervise quality control processes, including pilot runs, inline, midline, pre-final, and final inspections, to maintain product standards. Delivery Execution: Track daily merchandising and quality activities across vendors to ensure timely deliveries. Logistics: Collaborate with internal and third-party logistics to manage and execute the shipment process according to plan. Qualifications: 5 years of production experience in the fashion industry. Strong organizational and managerial skills. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities. Proven experience in vendor management, product development, and quality control. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
