Job Description

    Founded in 1999, Magic Bus works with children and young people living in poverty, in India, taking them from a childhood full of challenges to a life with meaningful livelihoods. We equip children and young people in the age group of 12 to 18, with the skills and knowledge they need to grow up and move out of poverty. Children on the Magic Bus programme successfully fend off destabilizers such as child marriage and child labour to complete school and become first-generation salary earners having secure careers in the organized sector. Magic Bus is recognized by the Great Place to Work Institute as one of Indias Best Employers among Nation BuildersResponsibilities:Directly play the role of account manager of multiple large projects and create and nurture a lasting relationshipPlay vital role in fund allocation and take major financial as well as programmatic decisions and reporting with respect to the grantOversee the progress of implementation of the program as per the. MoU agreed upon with the respective donorsSelf-sustaining practices for Retention of existing donors and growing grant/donation sizes Responsible for good CRM .Oversee the progress of implementation of the program as per the MoU agreed upon with the respective donorsPlay the role of an effective spokesperson between the Magic Bus and respective donor organizationsCustodian of data and analytics with reference to the progress and monitoring of programOrganizing kick off meeting with project stakeholders both internal and externalEnsure seamless communications and management of Corporate donorsEffective management of program budgets and transparent reporting back to the donorTo coordinate donor engagement activitiesTo organize project reviews at regular intervals and monitor progressTimely submission of donor reports (financial and programmatic)Desired Competencies:Experience in CRM from Corporate donorsExperience in managing key accountExperience in overseeing clients and programs Ability to drive complex projects in a timely mannerAbility to travel across the Magic Bus marketsAbility to work effectively with huge Data as well as analyse themVery good with MS Excel and Power pointEntrepreneurial, with high-energy levels and the passion to succeedHave strong networking skills and relationship orientationHave strong verbal and written communication skillsHave impeccable integrity and high personal ethicsQualification & Work experienceAny Graduate in Social work or other social sciences relevant to the development sector5 to 8 years experience in raising Corporate donor management for Non-profits.Awareness reflects engagement with diverse sectoral issues, especially on education, adolescent empowerment and rural developmentTeam coordination1. Director, Impact and the Impact team - To find ways to represent and communicate results/ outcomes2. Sustainability /Fundraising team - To ensure prompt and appropriate acknowledgement of all grant income and that all information relating to it is accurate, up to date and well organized and also provide other feasible support as required to the whole fundraising team in line with experience.3. Communications Team - To develop effective channel for internal as well as external communications, milestones achieved, success stories etc.4.
