Job Description

    Urgent opening for Counsellor/Tele counsellor for Education industry at Thane.Industry :EducationExperience: Minimum 2-3 yrsWorking Days: Monday Saturday (After the batch starts, alternate Saturdays will be off)Working Time: 10 AM 6 PMCounselling & Guidance:1.Conduct telephonic counselling sessions with prospective students and their parents to understand their educational goals and provide information about courses, campus facilities, and admission requirements.2.Assist students in choosing the right course based on their interests, career goals, and academic background.Lead Management:1.Follow up on leads generated through various channels such as website inquiries, social media, and educational fairs.2.Maintain accurate records of all interactions with potential students in the CRM system.Admission Process Support:1.Guide students through the entire admission process, including application submission, documentation, and visa procedures.2.Ensure timely follow-up with students to complete the necessary steps for enrolment.Information Dissemination:1.Provide detailed and accurate information about academic programs, scholarship opportunities, campus life, and study-abroad options.2.Update students on new developments and changes in the admission process or course offerings.Relationship Building:1.Build and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and external partners to ensure a positive and supportive counselling experience.Market Research:1.Stay updated on trends in overseas education, student preferences, and competitor offerings to better advise prospective students.Reporting:1.Prepare regular reports on lead status, conversion rates, and other key metrics to track the effectiveness of counselling efforts.Skills and Qualifications:Bachelors degree in any discipline; a degree in education, communication, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in student counselling, tele-counselling, or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; proficiency in additional languages is an advantage.
