Job Description

    Position: Deputy Manager AccountsIndustry: Real EstateQualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)Experience: 1-2 Years Post Qualification ExperienceJob SummaryWe are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Deputy Manager Accounts to manage financial accounting, taxation, compliance, audits, budgeting, and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting knowledge, hands-on taxation experience, and the ability to work closely with management in a fast-paced real estate environment.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Accounting & Reporting
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / AS).
    • Manage general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
    • Analyze financial performance and provide insights and recommendations to management.
    • Maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records and reports.
    Taxation & Compliance
    • Handle direct and indirect taxation matters including Income Tax and GST.
    • Ensure timely filing of tax returns, assessments, and statutory compliances.
    • Prepare and submit responses to tax notices and assessments.
    • Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and government authorities.
    • Stay updated with changes in taxation laws and regulatory requirements.
    Audit & Internal Controls
    • Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and tax audits.
    • Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and resolve audit observations.
    • Ensure implementation of strong internal controls and compliance processes.
    • Identify financial risks and support risk mitigation initiatives.
    • Assist in improving accounting systems and financial processes.
    Budgeting & Forecasting
    • Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
    • Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective measures.
    • Support cash flow management and working capital planning.
    • Assist management in financial planning and strategic decision-making.
    Stakeholder & Team Management
    • Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for finance-related activities.
    • Mentor and guide junior accounting and finance team members.
    • Collaborate with senior management on financial analysis, planning, and reporting.
    • Ensure timely completion of assigned financial and compliance tasks.
    Required SkillsTechnical Skills
    • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards, Financial Reporting, and Taxation Laws
    • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, NetSuite, etc.
    • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling
    • Good understanding of audit procedures and compliance frameworks
