Job Description

    Position: Interior design engineerWorking Days: Mon-SatWorking Time: 8:30 AM 5:30 PMLocation: GovandiWork Mode: Work from officeAbout Company:It Is a Well- Known Company Established in 2004. They are specialised Into Architectural, Civil And Interior Designs Both Domestically & Internationally. They Have Completed 120 Projects In Countries like UAE, Singapore , spainRoles & Responsibilities:Responsibilities Working to a brief which details the space utilization. Develop the design details based on the concept shared by the Senior Architect. Inspect and generate relevant survey drawings. Interpret and translate customer needs into preliminary layouts that also include electrical /false ceiling layouts. Reviewing construction documents to ensure that specifications meet design requirements. Research and suggest on materials and the subsequent products sourcing. Also oversee thetimely delivery and installation of the same. Produce sample and mood products as and when needed. Supervise work progress by coordinating with the site supervisor and the head contractors, toensure that construction meets design specifications. Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices Thinking creatively and critically to support the project team in the design process, to createsketches and drawings that work. Exhaustively reviewing and checking sketches and drawings for errors, before being sent tothe senior architect, before releasing the drawings to the subcontractors, Site manager, etc. Checking material requirements from site, place an order and follow-up of the timely deliveryof the same. Maintaining the minutes of the meeting for client interaction, irrespective of attendance ornot. To take the notes from the attendee. Maintaining a registry of the order list, checking them against challan and final bill checking ofvendors and contractors. Support the Senior Management team in producing detailed project timelines with internalmilestones. Provide regular and timely updates and progress reports to the Directors and/orAssociates.Requirements Being Creative, imaginative, Innovative and eye for design details. Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (Photoshop and Vray knowledge a must) Excellent communication and presentation skills Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. Project management skills Effective time management and logical decision-making ability. Excellent communication skills; listening, comprehension, and feedback.
