Job Description

    Exe/Sr.Exe Paints (exterior decorative formulations and Testing)Department R&D PaintsJob location Head OfficeRole Description The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of water-based interior and exterior decorative formulations and Testing. The role will conduct experiments &evaluate products. Develop guideline formulations. Evaluation of raw materials and finished good samples.Impact of the Role in Company Evaluation of raw materials and finished good samples.Job Responsibility Development and formulation of water-based interior and exterior decorative paints, ensuring performance, aesthetics, and regulatory compliance.Testing of paint formulations to ensure they meet company quality standards and performance criteria.Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth scale-up of formulations from laboratories to commercial production.Stay up to date with industry trends. Provide recommendations for new product development based on market insights and consumer demand. Conductcompetitive analysis to identify potential opportunities for new or improved product offerings.Provide technical support to the sales team regarding product performance, application methods, and troubleshooting. Address and resolve customer query in atimely and professional manner.Maintain accurate records of all product formulations and testing data. Prepare detailed technical reports on new product developments, performance testing, andquality control results.Complaint handling, root cause analysis and resolutions.Key Technical Skills Technical Skills: Knowledge of paint formulations, Testing, pigments, and EmulsionCompetencies Drive for Result, Action Orientation and Ensure accountabilityTotal Exp Experience: 2-7 years experience within the paint/Coating industry with specific expertise in decorative Interior and exterior water-based paints.Qualification Education: Masters degree in chemistry, B.Tech/M.Tech/B.E. in Paint/Oil, Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field is preferred.Important Comments Should have the development, formulation and testing knowledge of water-based interior and exterior decorative paints.Handling of Paint processing and testing instruments.Should have the knowledge of all the testing parameters of Paints, pigments, additives, Emulsions e.tc. as per the standard practice.
