Job Description

    Designation: Purchase / Procurement Manager
    • We are looking at Purchase / Procurement Manager specialising with Purchasing of Packaging material
    • Experience: 3-5 years
    • Qualities: Versatile, must be active in searching options in market places,
    • Negotiator and most importantly smart at people relations
    • Responsible for sourcing raw material packaging material like boxes , printing material , paper, cartons , boxes - cardboard , digital and offset prints
    • Managing stock and reorder points with stocker keeper through software
    • Handle contract negotiations with vendors and suppliers
    • Identify ideal suppliers based on quality, cost and reliability
    • Ensure documentation and filling of purchase orders, purchase bills in tally and ensure good payment terms with vendors
    • Reduce cost of purchase by working on strategies to reduce costs and plan procurements.
    • Search vendors on Indiamart and other market places for getting the best vendors with right quality and price.
    • Coordinate with designer and get the files ready for print > proof read and take approval from sales team before putting for print
    • Cost Estimation and pricing as per key line drawing , Material rates in market technical knowhow of this industry
