Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities of Riverbed:Configure, manage, and maintain Riverbed SteelCentral Portal for comprehensive network visibility and performance management.Develop and customize dashboards, reports, and alerts to monitor key network performance indicators.Conduct regular assessments and optimize the use of SteelCentral Portal for enhanced network performance insights.AppResponse Appliances Management:Deploy, configure, and maintain Riverbed AppResponse appliances to capture and analyze network traffic.Utilize AppResponse tools to perform deep packet inspections, identify performance issues, and troubleshoot network problems.Generate detailed analysis reports to support network performance tuning and capacity planning.Network Protocols Analysis:Conduct thorough analysis of network protocols to diagnose and resolve network issues.Utilize packet capture tools and techniques to monitor and analyze network traffic at a granular level.Interpret and present network performance data to stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.Performance Optimization:Identify network bottlenecks and latency issues through continuous monitoring and analysis.Collaborate with network engineers to implement performance-enhancing solutions.Ensure network configuration and performance standards are met or exceeded.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network performance metrics, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.Prepare and present regular performance reports to the IT management team.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to network performance monitoring and analysis.BE or Diploma with Minimum of 3 years of experience in network performance analysis or a similar role.Proficiency with Riverbed SteelCentral Portal and App Response appliances.Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, etc.) and network architecture.Experience with packet capture and analysis tools such as Wireshark and TA.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Experience with additional network performance monitoring tools and platforms.Knowledge of network security best practices.Work Environment:This position may require occasional on-call support and the ability to work flexible hours to address critical network issues.
