Job Description

    Summary:Senior Finance Professional with 10-20 years of qualified experience to lead the financial operations of our Data Center Build and Operations in India. This role will be responsible for financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, managing, and financial reporting for all data center build and operations activities. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to drive growth, profitability, and operational efficiency for the business.Key Responsibilities:Oversee budgeting and forecasting for Data Center Build and Operations: Build Cost management, Unit Economics aligned to market selling & margin aspirations Ongoing cost optimization and tracking run costs Lead the annual budgeting process for all data center build and operations activities Ensure accurate and timely forecasting of revenue, expenses, and cash flow Evaluate financial performance against budget and forecast and provide recommendations. for improvementManage financial planning and analysis for Data Center Build and Operations: Collaborate with the Data Center Build and Operations leadership team to develop and maintain a comprehensive financial plan Identify opportunities for cost optimization and growth Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-makingEnsure financial reporting compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and legal requirements Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes Manage external/internal audits and financial reportingLead financial aspects of data center build and operations: Work closely with the vendor, engineering, operations, and construction teams to develop and maintain accurate and comprehensive financial models for data center build projects Provide financial leadership for data center build and operations projects, including pricing, structuring, and negotiation Develop financial models to support business case analysis for new products, partnerships, and other initiatives Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on financial mattersProvide business decision support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, vendor management, marketing, and sales, to support business decision-making Conduct financial analysis and modeling to support new business opportunities and strategic partnershipsManage financial aspects of the business: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures. Oversee financial transactions, develop, and maintain effective financial controls and processesBuild and manage a high-performing finance team: Hire, develop, and retain a team of finance professionals with the necessary skills and experience to support the business Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvementQualifications: CA/MBA from a premier institute and/or postgraduate degree in finance, accounting, or related field 10-20 years of qualified experience in managing finance functions, with a focus on P&L management and financial planning and analysis Experience in managing Data centers, and complex financial transactions, including financing, and strategic partnerships Should have worked previously in roles of increasing managerial capacity in IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, IT/cloud-oriented organizations Strong financial modeling, analysis, and reporting skills Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills Proven ability to build and manage high-performing finance teams,
