Job Description

: Java_PL SQL_ETLDate: Sep 28, 2024Location: NOIDA, UP, INCompany: NTT DATA ServicesRole TitleDeveloper (JAVA)Design, develop and manage high performance Java-based applications and software. Would be required to work on Java and database technologies (Oracle PL/SQL).Were looking for someone who:

  • Has expertise in writing high quality Java code using java frameworks (Spring, Struts, etc.)
  • Has expertise in writing high quality database queries, stored procedures and functions to manipulate the database data to desired format (Oracle PLSQL).
  • Has ability to write Java APIs to read and load data from source to target database.
  • Has expertise in Java / Python, SQL, Shell Scripting, etc.
  • Writing unit tests and load test scripts.
  • Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Participate along with Technical Lead in application design and create technical documentation like flow diagrams.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues like database performance, database capacity, replication, and other data-related issues.
  • Optimize process for speed and efficiency, addressing bottlenecks, and ensuring the application can handle the volume, velocity, and variety of data.
  • Work with clients to deliver scalable and maintainable code.
  • Understand the infrastructure requirements needed for the application.
  • Work on developing streamlined CI/CD process for application development.
  • If the candidate has hands-on experience on ETL tools, it would be an added advantage.
You will need to show us that you can:
  • Work closely with business analysts, data scientists, and IT teams to understand application requirements and deliver the product that supports business goals.
  • Provide technical support for the application, troubleshooting issues and ensuring the continuous availability and reliability.
  • Take ownership of code and end-to-end process from development, testing, and deployment.
  • Document the requirements of the system and manage its development.
  • Be a good team member and support other teams proactively to achieve end results.
