Job Description

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead the overall sales function for all NXP products in India, overseeing regional sales teams, driving a high-performance sales culture.
  • Develop and drive sales strategies to maximize sales of products and solutions for India market that results in sustainable market share growth and industry benchmark profitability, focusing on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Drive the growth of Revenue for India through effective identification of customers, both directly or through our distribution partners and market penetration strategies in line with companys product roadmap.
  • Align sales strategies with the companys global goals and local market dynamics - working with key stakeholders to understand the policies and roll outs in India that will contribute significantly to the strategy.
  • Build, manage and mentor a high performing sales team. Provide leadership, coaching, and support to regional sales personnel.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in customers organization, both OEM and mass market customers.
  • Analyze current and future market potential, and trends in semiconductor industry in particular in India, make recommendations and set priorities.
  • Responsible for sales forecasting, budgeting and reporting as well as making strategic and tactical decisions to ensure meeting all key financial KPI. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on sales performance, market conditions and customer feedback.
Job Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree or above in Electronics Engineering.
  • 15 years experience in sales and business development roles in the semiconductor industry.
  • Experience in managing and driving multiple teams with strong leadership qualities.
  • Proven track record with strong business and industry acumen.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor ecosystem in India including an understanding of key applications, technologies and market trend.
  • Extensive Network of contacts within the electronics sector in India, OEM, ODMs, distribution and technology partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills. Able to engage with C suite executives and decision makers.
