  • Software asset management activities include creating, updating, tracking, monitoring, and maintaining software licenses in asset management database
  • Organize and analyze customer purchase information, Contracts/Agreements to establish an accurate baseline
  • Reconcile customers software license entitlements with actual software installs/usage to determine the customers license compliance position
  • Understands Product Use Rights and contractual entitlements for software products and manufacturers (with a specialty in one or more manufacturers)
  • Analyze client contracts in order to establish areas of risk and Software License Compliance Position for the clients
  • Other Software Asset Management duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Advance excel, software licensing knowledge
  • Experience delivering Effective Licensing Position Report
  • IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis on customer service, including experience handling challenging situations
  • Experience on industry leading SAM tools such as SNOW/Flexera preferred.
  • Detail oriented, customer oriented, result delivery oriented, analytical thinking
Preferences:
  • Degree in a technical field (preferred)
  • An Industry recognized certification such as Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent
  • Experience working in a managed services environment and with virtual teams
