DXC IS HIRNIG FOR Microsoft Finance Business AnalystPlease find the below JD:The Microsoft D365 Financial management specialist must have done at least 4 full lifecycle implementations. Along with a stronghold on the product, the candidate must have a very strong hold on the Supply Chain Domain knowledge.The candidate should have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality. The Consultant will be a key technical/Functional spokesperson for the DXC Microsoft Practice.Provide domain and technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams. Responsible for providing technical and domain knowledge support and/or leadership in the creation and delivery of technology solutions designed to meet customers business needs and, consequently, for understanding customers businesses.As a trusted advisor create and maintain effective customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain knowledge of leading-edge technologies and industry/market domain knowledge.Actively contribute to the companys solutions portfolio by providing information ranging from the domain, technical knowledge to methodologies based on experience gained from customer projects. Shape technical direction and technical strategies within the organization and for external customers.Contribute to the organizations profitability by generating and cultivating new business opportunities and by providing technical support for deal proposal development.ResponsibilitiesMicrosoft Finance Specialist a hands-on domain and application expert will have the following responsibilities:
• Act as Finance domain expert providing best-practice guidance on finance business processes and implementation approaches
• Understand business requirements and be able to convert into system configurations in finance modules and bring in diverse perspectives
• Fit Gap Analysis of the Microsoft product capability to the defined DXC aligned view of APQC Process Classification Framework (PCF).
• Document the gaps and identify custom solutions for the gaps as DXC IP Development.
• Prepare / review solution deliverables
• Lead design workshops
• Handle complex business processes and configuration
• Provide configuration, setup, implementation, testing and deployment assistance
• Create strong business cases supported by compelling value propositions
• Leverage Microsoft Sure Step, Agile & Waterfall methodology for full-lifecycle implementations
Primary Skills and Qualifications10 years of experience as a Solution / Domain Specialist in the Finance, added advantage if exposure to APQC and SCOR Frameworks.
• Organization Structure & Multi Entities, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management / Banking, Consolidation, Financial and General Reporting
• 10+ years of strong experience in AX/ Great Plains/ Dynamics 365 - Finance & Operations
• Good understanding of architecture in Finance & Operations, Budgeting and Reporting
• Good experience and strong knowledge in the following areas of D365- F&O:
• Organization Structure & Multi Entities, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management / Banking, Consolidation, Financial and General Reporting
• Experience with Data Migration from other systems to D365 - F&O
• Experience with configuration, testing and troubleshooting in D365
• Experience designing and improving business process and controls with deep business process re-engineering experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-motivating and be able to plan your own work.
• Proven ability business process areas exposure to end-to-end supply chain cycle
• Able to lead a team and provide perspective on Industry trends and go to market solutions
• Experience in leading Presales and participating in Orals with clients
• Ability to identify process gaps in APQC and define and append the resulting DXC Process Classification Framework to resolve these gaps and work with the wider team to complete how the MS finance product capability aligns to these APQC processes.
• Where there are product capability gaps, to document and identity potential IP candidates (which may of course already exist). The individual will work under the supervision of the CBVT Finance stream lead with responsibility for ensuring the Finance related Process Classification Framework data set is complete and integrated to the wider CBVT pillars
