Job Description

    • Department:Global Project & Planning
    • Position: Procurement Analyst
    • Qualification:Any bachelors degree with 0-2 Years of experience in Procurement / SCM; German Language B1 /B2, Certification on ERP/ SCM will be additional advantage.
    • Responsibilities and Duties:
    • 1. Standard ERP System
    • a. Define & Create the Purchase Requisition (BANF) for development projects / Capital Expenditure at RRS, Friedrichshafen, Germany.
    • b. Create reports out of business systems like SAP, Nintex* System and others for tracking of the procurement status of committed Products & Services. (stage I: Manual report creation)
    • c. Optimize the reporting process by defining / modifying the data extraction process e.g. SAP PPM, SAP PS3 also the tools where the data is collected and processed for reporting (e.g. VBA programming, using MS Excel, Customized tools) (stage II: Automate reporting)
    • d. Monitor or Track the Procurement activity for whole development vertical & responsible for all Procurement Related topics.
    • 2.New Systems & Continues Improvement
    • a. Create Reports & Tracking effectively by using new process for PR.
    • b. SPOC for all procurement in Development.
    • c. Sync the Standard ERP Systems & Improvise the new systems as per benchmark.
    • d. Monitor & Tracking regarding the Procurement activity with the stakeholders.
    • e. Maintain the database & highlight the critical issues.
    • f. Assist stakeholder regarding the ERP systems by online conferences.
    • 3. Documentation
    • Document reporting processes
    • Necessary Skills:
    • 1. Basic knowledge of SCM & ERP Systems e.g. SCM Certification or Basic of Procurement Activities, Certificate not required but candidate should equivalent knowledge by in house training and practice in Procurement as team member.
    • 2. Advanced knowledge of SCM, MS Excel, using charts, organizing big data amounts, using pivot-reports, indexed lists with, able to do visual basic programming
    • 3. Basic knowledge of SAP R3 Modules CO or PS / PP or another equivalent enterprise resource planning system (e.g. JD Edwards)
    • 4. Knowledge standard supply chain management processes & routing methods for purchase requisition.
    • 5. Familiar with the Procurement cycle & Knowledge of Development Projects.
    Language: English written and spoken fluent. It is necessary to be understood by English speaking Germans. Speak German Fluently level B1 / B2.
