Job Description

    Job Title: Retail Sales ExecutiveLocation:MumbaiDepartment: SalesReports To: Store Manager / Sales ManagerKey Responsibilities:
    • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to customers, helping them identify products that meet their needs, and addressing any inquiries they may have.
    • Sales: Actively engage with customers to drive sales and meet daily/weekly/monthly sales targets.
    • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and promotions in the store to assist customers effectively and recommend additional products.
    • Merchandising: Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Assist with product displays, ensuring products are neatly arranged and accessible to customers.
    • Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash, credit, and other payment methods.
    • Inventory Management: Assist in stock replenishment and inventory management, reporting any discrepancies or low stock levels to management.
    • Customer Feedback: Collect customer feedback and provide insights to the management team on customer preferences and potential improvements.
    • Promotions and Upselling: Promote store promotions, discounts, and upsell additional products to customers to increase overall sales.
    • Teamwork: Work closely with other team members and collaborate to ensure smooth store operations.
    Key Requirements:
    • Experience: Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, but not required.
    • Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
    • Customer-Centric: A positive and friendly attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer service.
    • Sales Driven: Goal-oriented with a strong desire to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Attention to Detail: Able to maintain product displays, stock levels, and store organization.
    • Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
    • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift or move merchandise.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience in fashion, electronics, or relevant retail sectors.
    • Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems.
    • High school diploma or equivalent (additional qualifications are a plus).
